Accord: informing and strengthening peace processes

Conciliation Resources informs and strengthens peace processes around the world by making sure that the hard-won lessons of peacemaking are analysed, documented and readily available.

We do this through our acclaimed Accord publication series and projects. Over the past 10 years we have developed a unique body of documentation on peace processes and armed conflict. In each project we:

• document peace processes and initiatives and the sources and dynamics of armed conflicts in Accord: an international review of peace initiatives, which gives information and analysis on specific countries and themes
• work in partnership to produce, translate and distribute each Accord publication and share the emerging lessons to support local efforts to promote peace and justice

• promote learning and increase understanding of peace processes and agreements by informing those directly involved in or affected by armed conflict. We also run a comparative learning project with partners in Colombia and the Philippines to make sure our work is informed by experiences on the ground

• inform and influence policymakers through briefing papers, seminars, conferences and formal and informal discussions

Our information and analysis aims to engage a wide audience including primary parties to conflict, intermediaries, civil society groups, policymakers and the media.
